Steps for admission include: Submitting the application for admission, along with the $60 application fee, and providing official transcripts and SAT and/or ACT scores if required. You can find a detailed explanation of the process here. Note: Some application questions may require you to submit additional documents or statements, so please be sure to answer every question carefully and honestly.

How do accepted students notify Georgia State of their intent to enroll? Is there a tuition deposit?
Students will receive the Intent to Enroll Form upon acceptance to Georgia State. It’s their responsibility to fill out the required information and submit it to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Currently, Georgia State does not require a tuition deposit.
Students have access to a wide variety of academic support services outside the classroom, including a Writing Studio, the Supplemental Instruction program and academic coaching. Please visit our Student Success website for a complete list of Georgia State’s academic support resources.

For traditional fall entry, the early-action deadline is Nov. 15, and the regular admission deadline is March 1. Students who wish to be considered for scholarships must submit their application for admission and all required documents by Jan. 7.
